Web-based multimedia course that provides students with a comprehensive networking background. Topics include network architectures, topologies, protocols, industry standards, hardware and troubleshooting. This course prepares students for industry endorsed certification exams.

This course is self-paced and must be completed within 90 days of the start date. The grade is pass/fail.

• Basic computer literacy course
• Basic networking knowledge

• Access to a computer connected to the Internet.
• Windows 95, NT or Mac OS 7.5 or higher.
• Netscape 3.0 or later, or Internet Explorer 4.0 or later.
• Minimum 486 or Pentium Processor with minimum 12 MB RAM, or 68040 with minimum 12 MB RAM.
• Display minimum resolution 800x600 at 256 colors.
• Sound Card.

At the beginning of the course, you will be assigned to an instructor. Throughout the course, you will be able to request assistance on all course-related issues from your instructor.
