EDT 394G Security Essentials
Course Overview Security Essentials—The Security Essentials course explores security concepts and implementation of security as it applies to LANs and WANs. Topics include cryptography, security standards and protocols, authorization and access methods, intrusion detection, infrastructure design, and security on the internet Throughout the course, each chapter includes exercises, a lab, and a practice quiz. Users should complete the exercises and activities for each lesson to ensure mastery. Each chapter’s content is supplemented with the following components:
